Families are a vital part of the Lincoln Hills community. Depending on the activity and resident usage, most activities are open for your family to participate. Some activities have age restrictions: billiards (16+), bus trips (18+), swimming (4+), and require that you accompany them. Residents may purchase a guest pass for use at the Fitness Centers and on the trails for those times they want to go alone.

Grandchildren especially enjoy the tot-lot, located at the Sports Pavilion, and they also enjoy using two of the three swimming pools at Orchard Creek Lodge during designated children swim hours. The 19 miles of walking trails that wind their way throughout the community are a rewarding learning experience for anyone who enjoys seeing the extensive local animal and plant life. Interpretive signs and historic Indian Grinding Rocks in their original settings are along the paths and provide interesting information.

Special programs designed for grandparent and grandchildren interaction are offered throughout the year including a summer grandkids day camp, spring egg hunt, and plays during the holiday.

Dining options are plentiful and varied for entertaining your family and guests. Meridians Restaurant, the Kilaga Cafe, and the Sports Bar are all open for your enjoyment. Meridians continues to receive accolades for its Sunday brunch offerings, and is especially known for its special event buffets on Easter, Mother's Day and Thanksgiving.
